This is a 2006 Longhorn 2-Horse Bumper Pull Slant Load HORSE TRAILER.
This trailer is in good working condition. I have owned it for 18 years and it has been kept under cover the whole time.
It has wooden plank flooring with mats on the top. Wood and mats all good.
Additional description:
* Step up, but not a very high step.
* Tack room in front with 2 removable saddle racks; bridle hangers.
* Swinging middle divider making it easy to haul one or two horses.
* You can fasten the divider and tack room divider to the side and have a wide open trailer to haul things like lawn mowers, junk, tree branches, hay, and stuff from Home Depot.
* New Tires were put on in 2018 and are just fine. The trailer does not have a lot of long miles on it. We only hauled horses and items more locally throughout the years.
* It has some rust, but has been touched up throughout the years.
* All lights hook up and work fine except for the ones above the back door (see pic). The wires broke when we were hauling branches and we didn't repair those. But the side and back lights all work great.
* Has good ventilation for warm days.
*Steel Construction
*Manual Jack
*Spare Tire
*5200# Axles
*16-inch Tires
Dressing Room:
2' Shortwall
7' Longwall
More PROS:
* If you have a horse that needs more space or gets nervous with a divider, this trailer works well. You can haul a horse in it without using the divider.
* Also, if you have a horse that won't back out, you can turn them around to come out.
* It is 2400 lbs. and pulls nicely.
* It has never been in any accidents and doesn't have any big dents or damage to it. Just minor scuffs and scrapes mainly from hauling hurricane debris.
CONS:
* It rattles a bit if the middle dividers aren't secured properly. I can show you how to fasten them if you don't use them.
This trailer has served us well. I am showing now and need more tack room and living space, so am selling this trailer in order to purchase another one. But I know this trailer well and can answer your questions from years of experience with it.
NOTE: Horse and truck in the pictures do not come with the trailer. You only get the horse trailer. LOL
