Construction Worker (Ocala) Pellot Construction Services Compensation: $20–25/hour | Full-time
We're seeking a reliable construction worker to assist our general contractor while following all site health and safety regulations. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Drywall repair
• Bathroom and kitchen remodels
• Plumbing
• Concrete and block work
• Painting
• Demolition
• Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor
• Safely operate a variety of construction and maintenance tools
• Clean and clear debris; handle setup and cleanup at job sites
• Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
Requirements & Qualifications
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Solid understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Able to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Works well independently or as part of a team
• English/Spanish fluency a plus, not required
• Reliable transportation to work
• Flexible schedule
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather (heat/cold)
