PLEASE READ THE FULL AD, MOST OF YOUR QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED........
(This is for those that won't read the FULL ad and will text, call, or email me asking redundant Questions-
1. NO I wont/can't give an exact quote over the phone/email because it will be inaccurate since I am only guessing, but most units (Ax5, Ax15 and Nv3500/3550) run from $750-1400.
2. Builds (units that customers have pulled) take 3-5 days typically, builds that I pull will be a few days more.
3. Location - Wildwood, Fl.
4. No I don't build any Automatics, I am not set up for them at this time.
5. I do not build anything that is front wheel drive (manual or automatics)
6. I do not have any transmissions or transfer case's already built and sitting on the shelf.
Transmissions are in HIGH demand and
Transfer case's have way to many variations.
Everyone else please continue to read as most questions are answered and explained below..
----------------------------------------------
I am an A.S.E certified in automatic/standards/drive-line and differentials, with over 30 years of experience.
I am able to repair almost anything on a jeep (except AC work) but transmissions and transfer cases keep me busy.
I AM NOT CURRENTLY SETUP TO BUILD AUTOMATICS....
I buy my Bearings kits with only O.E.M bearings (Toyo / Koyo / Nachi ), gaskets, seals and syncros locally or carry a large selection in stock.
If hard parts (Gears, shafts, forks, etc) are needed most are MOPAR Brand or a high grade aftermarket (from company's that I trust and have used for years)
**If you are dropping off a Transmission/transfer case then I suggest you stick around while I tear it down so that you can see what I see (around 30 mins or so) **. If you dropped off the Jeep then when I start to open up the unit (transmission /transfer case) I will be taking pics/video and sending them to as I go.
-----
If your dropping off a transmission I request that you bring me the COMPLETE SHIFTER (so I can inspect and clean/repair) and the TRANSFER CASE so I can change out the front seal and any other seal that I see that may be leaking. This way it eliminates any contaminates or future issues (leaks)
I will try to work around your schedule, if its your daily driver I will do everything possible to get it done A.S.A.P. most rebuilds takes 3-5 days.
I build all units as if its my own, it will be done correct or I wont do it.
I have no issue with declining work.

$30-50
cleaned/repaired and New parts- shifter boot, shifter seat, shifter ball
Most shifters have been ran without having the shifter seat underneath, this allows the shifter to ride lower and cause damage to the shifter (along with a rough "dragging" feel)
I disassemble the shifter (upper handle from lower) and clean and inspect the lower shifter. I wire wheel all the rust off so a polished surface is left, if there is any damage to the shifter grooves I clean them and remove any burs, once clean and repaired I add a new shifter boot, shifter seat, and shifter ball and reassemble.
***The shifter boot is the only thing keeping water and dirt out of the transmission.***
---
TRANSFER CASE
I will inspect and test the unit if it appears to be in good shape-
I will replace the front seal with an original (oem) double lip seal (around $15)
If the customer would like all the seals/o-rings replaced while its out it would be around $75 (parts/labor)
The seals that I use are high quality (and less expensive than what you can get at the parts store).
-NOTE- parts for these units are becoming extremely hard to find, and some gears are unattainable.
It is mandatory for me to talk to you on the phone about this transmission.

I am able to build many other rear wheel drive transmissions whether its Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota from 1950-2000. If parts are available then odds are I can build it.
Warranty does not cover negligence or abuse (such as but not limited to)
Transmission / Transfer-case having water in it
or
Transmission / Transfer-case being run/ran low on oil for ANY reason (including but not limited to)
seal failure or oil not being installed at the time of installation ( if you installed it).
**After the vehicle is back on the road it is YOUR responsibility to keep an eye on transmission-transfer case and check for leaks, if a seal is defective it (normally) will leak with in 50 miles of the rebuild.
If a leak is discovered it is up to you to contact me at which point I will fix the leak.
If the unit is damaged by not contacting me or from you not noticing the leak, it will not be covered under warranty.
Warranty also does not cover shipping, installation labor (unless I installed it), towing costs or any other costs or damages that may occur due to failure of a unit or component's.
Unit will be repaired including parts and labor should a unit have an issue, or the unit will be replaced if it cannot be repaired.
I have a very high success rate (98%) due to my OCD, the quality of parts that i use and that I mainly only build Jeeps transmissions.
