Slade is a poodle mix (according to his dna results because we definitely did NOT guess that). He is a rescue so unsure of exact age, but definitely under a year, guessing about 7 months maybe. We took him in with every intention of keeping him, but he is an extremely active boy who really needs more than we can offer unfortunately. He is good with kids, but not good at not jumping on everyone. He is very treat and attention motivated, but seems to be a selective listener. He is potty trained and crate trained, though he much prefers having his freedom. He is not fixed yet and has not had his vaccines, but does have a natural immunity to parvo now. Making sure he survived the parvo, that he apparently had when we got him, tapped out our financial resources. This is a very hard decision. We love him very much, and just want what will be best for him.
