MONTH: 1 - 3
The students will learn the basics of music theory, note names, scales, triads and simple folk songs and melodies. After 3 months the students will start playing popular songs: classical, country, rock, blues, etc.
MONTH 4 - 6:
The students will participate in monthly jam sessions and learn the different parts that make up a song: bass line, chord accompaniment, lead melody and soloing.
MONTHS: 7 +
After six months, advanced lessons will be given to students who want to learn Jazz, Blues, Bossanova or Salsa piano styles. I also play bass and if we get a student who sings then we can really rock the house!
