Job Responsibilities
Assist the Route Driver with residential waste and recycling collection.
Load and empty residential and commercial containers into collection trucks.
Operate hoisting equipment when needed.
Assist the driver during backing maneuvers.
Report safety concerns, service issues, or incidents to management.
Communicate customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.
Follow all WM safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Less than 1 year of related experience required (entry-level applicants welcome).
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform frequent physical labor.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must successfully pass a drug screen, physical, background check, and employment verification.
6-inch steel-toe boots are REQUIRED on the first day (No Exceptions).
Preferred
Interest in obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in the future.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
