You’ve been longing to ride again but Ocala is too far away? Maybe you’ve been thinking about bringing your horse down to Florida from up North? But it’s not practical when you live in a Villages 2/2 villa? Come to Wissthaven. This is a 14 acre fully fenced property with a four stall barn, paddock and acres of grazing. conveniently located in Fruitland Park off Cherry Lake Road (CR 100) and directly adjacent to The Villages. We have to let you know in advance we can’t take just any horse. this is not a rehab facility. Your ride must be fully domesticated. No history of violence or chronic bad behavior. No serious or chronic health issues that need daily treatment. Looking for horses that are able and eager to live peacefully with other horses, or just keep to themselves. Friendly and patient caretakers with 50+ years of horse care and riding experience. Boarding is $100 a week. Non-refundable $400 deposit required. You supply hay, feed, your own tack, and medications, such as worming capsules. We will muck out, feed them your feed, and administer maintenance medicine for an additional fee. We are excited to welcome horses to our property and to meet their owners. Have yet to meet a horse owner we didn’t like. On the other hand, the horse’s temperament will tell me everything we need to know about you.
