For those who don't know: This is the first model year of the fifth generation of Super Duty trucks. It is the first year with the 6.8L short-stroked version of the 7.3L "Godzilla" engine. What this means in practice is that this truck has by far the best engine of any gas truck, ever. This engine has impressed the hell out of me, and will easily tow a 22,500 pound trailer through the Rocky Mountains. You DON'T need a diesel engine if all you're going to be doing with this truck is towing an RV trailer.
