Assure that required state forms are correct and up to date. Prepare kitchen work schedule. Assure that employees are completing their assigned tasks daily. Order and receive food from regular suppliers. Collect donated food items. Maintain daily inventory of all food items in kitchen.
You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in food service especially in institutional food service is a plus.
You must be willing to prepare for and receive SERVsafe certification, manager level.
Coordinator will oversee the daily meal preparation including production and meal service to the inmate population. This includes interpreting and complying with related health and food service standards. Coordinator will to supervise the inmate food service workers in food production, preparation, kitchen sanitation, etc. All meals will be prepared in accordance with the DOC master menu manual and master menu recipes. Coordinator will be responsible for the accurate completion of forms and records daily.
All prospective candidates will be subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Employer participates in E-Verify (Employment Eligibility). Employer will require a valid Florida driver's license; and a three-year acceptable driving record.
